The Grand Hotel opened its doors in 1790. For 200 years, its name has been synonymous with the grace and style of that era. It overlooks the golden strand of Tramore, which is probably the most enchanting and the most popular of the Atlantic resorts. The Grand Hotel is owned and managed by the Treacy family, who combine luxury with the elegance of a bygone age, whilst maintaining the tradition of efficient service in a warm hospitable atmosphere.

The Grand Hotel offers over 80 spacious and comfortable en-suite bedrooms which are decorated with guests comfort in mind. Most of the rooms offer stunning views of Tramore Bay. As a family friendly hotel, we have 10 dedicated family rooms with double and either two or three single beds in each.

Food & Beverage
There is an excellent choice and variety to wine and dine at The Grand Hotel. Duffy's Bar is a large airy bar that serves excellent choice & quality bar food daily from 5pm - 9pm and Sunday Lunch from 12.30pm. Fantastic daily specials from fresh caught fish delivered daily from the local fishing village of Dunmore East to roast of the day from only €9.95. The Doneraile Restaurant is an award winning restaurant which overlooks Tramore Bay and serves a large selection of fine wines and fantastic food. All ingredients are sources locally with fish and steaks a speciality. The River Room is the main function room which cater for weddings, functions, dinner dances, conferences, parties and fashion shows. Often gigs like Aslan, The Drifters, The Wolf Tones, Kieran Goss, Mick Flannery, Alababa 3 and many more. The Tap Room is a smaller, more intimate room suitable for functions or private dining for 50 or less.
