The hotel was built in 1730 for the Bishop of Waterford and became the official residence of successive incumbents, the last of which was Bishop Miller. The food in the Bishop's Restaurant can be summed up as "Food with Flair". The Menu is classical and fresh with a French Twist. Our award-winning chefs offer delicious and wholesome food served with creative flair using fresh, local ingredients including some from our own gardens.   The Brasserie is for less formal yet intimate dining, it has its own bar which serves Carvery Lunch. This bright and airy restaurant with its warm and welcoming atmosphere can also be adapted as a function room for small parties. For private or corporate events, our head chef and banqueting manager will gladly create a special menu for you.

THINGS TO DO IN WATERFORD   Waterford Crystal is famous throughout the World and their Visitor Centre allows visitors to be guided through the actual production areas, where the World Famous Crystal is made.    Waterford City has seen much development in recent years. There are sections in the Gardens and each section has a different style.
