The Barnawee Bridge Bed and Breakfast is located two miles from Dungarvin in Co. Waterford. County Waterford is known in Ireland as "The Déise" (An Déise), due to the fact that some time between the 4th and 8th centuries, a native Gaelic tribe called the Déisi were driven from the southern parts of the country, conquering and settling here. The unspoiled Blue Flag Clonea Beach is located within walking distance. Bird watchers can enjoy the views of rare birds parading on the mudflats when the tide is out from the guesthouse’s windows.
