Slane Farm Hostel

Run by Joanne and Paddy Macken, Slane Farm Hostel is situated on a working farm which is home to suckler cows, their calves, and sheep.
Some horses are also kept, mainly for leisure.

Guests will be greeted at all times by a member of the family, all of whom are very familiar with the daily activities of the farm.

As a guest of the hostel you'll find more than a comfortable bed
awaiting you. You will be heartily encouraged to enjoy the peaceful atmosphere of rural Ireland. The farm's picturesque landscape is ideal for walking - it even has a few ruins and a fairy fort for the curious to explore.

Bedrooms
Guests have a choice of three family rooms, all en-suite, or three dormitories, also all en-suite. All areas are non-smoking. 

 

Amenities

Amenities include a kitchen, living room with television, laundry/drying facilities, a reception area, and a meeting/games room.

3 Family Rooms each with 1 double-bed, bunk-bed and en-suite

Laundry/Drying Room Equipped with a washer and spin dryer

Kitchen With cooker, refrigerator, microwave and utensils. Tea, coffee, sugar and jam are provided. Packed Lunches can be purchased for day-trips.

Games/Meeting Room with pool table, table tennis, darts, Internet point and board games

Living/TV Room A warm atmosphere for relaxing in the evening

3 Dormitories Sleeping 6, 8 and 12 people, all en-suite

Parking & Luggage Secure parking and storage for left luggage

Camping Ground available beside the hostel with shower facilities
