Fishing
Foxford
is attractively located between the Ox Mountains
and Neiphin range and situated on the banks
of the river Moy which is one of the most
famous salmon fishing rivers in Europe, and
is the most prolific salmon river in Ireland.

is a qualified fishing guide with years
of experience fishing the Moy and surrounding
rivers and
lakes. This fishing would include salmon, wild brown trout. Sea
trout, on lakes Conn and Cullin the great Western
lakes, and also pike fishing. If you would like to go deep-sea
fishing we will arrange this for you.

the ideal location for a relaxing,

Foxford is synonymous with fishing with
the world famous River Moy and an abundance
of other rivers and lakes. The town and
surrounding
areas are an angler's paradise, with local salmon fishing on the
River Moy and trout fishing on the nearby freshwater lakes.
Foxford is also famous for it's Woollen Mills.
The visitor's centre is a very popular tourist attraction.
William Brown, founder of the Argentine Navy was born in Foxford, where he is
remembered by a bronze bust by the Argentine sculptor Vergottini.
