Room Information

The spacious lounge is tastefully decorated and features an electric fireplace, TV and comfortable furniture. The open-plan kitchen/dining area has a sunny aspect and plenty of space. The kitchen is fully fitted with all the modern conveniences, such as an electric cooker, fridge/freezer, dishwasher, washing machine, dryer and microwave. All necessary kitchen utensils and crockery are provided. Upstairs a spacious landing leads to 3 bedrooms; 1 double bedroom with en suite and 2 twin bedrooms. Each bedroom has more than adequate storage space. There is a main bathroom upstairs with toilet, hand basin, shower and bath. The houses are heated with electric central heating and there are storage heaters in each room. In addition, all bed linen and towels are provided. Electricity is an extra charge payable on departure.

Area Information

Kenmare lies approximately 30 minutes away drive from a host of sandy beaches and it has a very pretty harbour from where you can swim, fish or take a trip on the ‘Seafari Cruise’ to view the wildlife in the area. Kayaking, sailing, canoeing, hill walking, children’s playground, golf, diving, horse riding, and bicycle hire are also available in the area. Kenmare is known as the jewel in the Ring of Kerry. Located between two of the most beautiful touring routes in Europe - the Ring of Kerry and the Ring of Beara – a number of interesting day trips can be taken from Kenmare. Killarney is a 40 minute drive away and Cork City is just over an hour's drive. There is a great selection of pubs and late night bars to choose from in Kenmare, with many featuring live music from traditional Irish to rock and modern styles.
