Food & Beverage

The Walnut Restaurant is ideal for small groups and private parties such as Christenings, Birthday parties and First Communion and Confirmation. The restaurant is popular with both our Hotel guests and in the local area. The hotel bar is suitably located at the heart of the hotel. There's no better place to celebrate after your event or to start your evening's entertainment. The bar offers an extensive menu all day along with a full drinks selection.
In one section of the bar we feature all the top sports events via Sky Sports and Setanta Sports.

Area Information

The Cooley Peninsula provides moderate hill walking in the Cooley Mountains and on Slieve Foy with breathtaking views of the Mourne Mountains and the North East Coast. A number of trails are available including the Tain trail which is marked along the way. Visit Carlingford & Carlingford Adventure Centre , the gem of the North East, only 30 minutes drive from the hotel. The scenery is stunning along the way and Carlingford itself is steeped in history with the added bonus of having some of the finest eateries of the East Coast of Ireland. Indulge in a game or two of Golf. County Louth is home to some of Ireland's finest Courses - Baltray and Seapoint. Map & Directions

From the South, head north on the M1 out of Dublin towards Belfast. Go past Dublin Airport (you are approximately 50 miles and 45 minutes away now. Take the exit for Dundalk South off the M1 heading towards Dundalk. You will pass the Xerox plant on your right. After the plant there is a large intersection. Take the right hand turn in the direction of Castlebellingham. The hotel is located about half a mile up this road on the left hand side.
