The Aherlow House Hotel is uniquely positioned in the Glen of Aherlow which stretches through 16 miles of unspoilt countryside affording some of the most breathtaking scenery.  Today there are opportunities for walking, horseriding, cycling, rambling and fishing. Lowland walks follow the River Aherlow along the valley floor. More adventurous walkers will be tempted by the Galtee range, which offers more rugged hill walking past wooded foothills, mountain streams, corrie lakes and splendid sandstone peaks. The Glen of Aherlow is a walkers paradise offering a variety of low level and mountain walks. Nothing beats early morning fishing in the river Aherlow, in such a quiet and tranquil surroundings. The river offers Brown Trout and Perch. Both the beginner and accomplished rider are well catered for by horseriding establishment nearby the Aherlow House Hotel & Lodges.

Map & Directions

On approaching Tipperary Town enter on the Cashel Road an continue down the Main Street turning left at the traffic lights. Turn right at the traffic circle after the creamery. Continue until you reach another T-junction and turn right, following the road up the mountain where there is a road to the right, which has the Aherlow House Hotel and Lodges sign. Take this road and follow it down the mountain until you reach the hotel.
