The Hill of Tara is famous as the seat of the High Kings of Ireland and has been an important site since the Stone Age. Well worth a visit.
Trim Castle The Castle was founded by Hugh De Lacy, who was granted the kingdom of Meath. The castle did house two royal children, Prince Henry, later Henry V, and his brother Humphrey.
The magnificent Slane Castle is located on the banks of the Boyne, the castle boasts a gothic revival ballroom, which is one of the finest in Europe. It is home to the world famous Annual Rock Concerts held on the grounds of the Castle every year.

Known as one of the great wonders of the ancient world, Newgrange is older than the pyramids in Egypt. Its construction has long has for years evoked the wonder of archaeologists
