Woodville House is a splendid 17th Century Olde World Period Residence and is one of only three left in the County of Westmeath that still remains untouched, The House is set of 27 acres of Woodlands that boast a Wild Bird Haven. There is a lake and fairy Fort on the grounds and beautiful walkways through the forest and surrounding grounds.

Woodville is located 7km from Mullingar Town and is easily accessed from the N4 Dublin Sligo Road or the N11 Dublin Galway Road from Rochfortbridge. Woodville is in close proximity of all activities including Golf Courses, Fishing, Childrens activities and Tourist attractions such as Belvedere House & Gardens Kilbeggan Race Course, Lockes Distillery and lots more.. There are a multitude of things to do in the area that will suit all walks of life.

Woodville Restaurant
Woodville Restaurant is an experience not to be missed. The Cellar Restaurant has a real working well set in the middle of the floor that reaches down some 50ft below the ground. Tradition has it that to throw a coin of any value into the well will give the donor one wish for the evening. Several Marriage proposals have occurred following this action. All have been successful.
The Restaurant is riddled with quiet corners to make a more intimate setting but can easily cater for large groups also. The only thing that can top this experience is the taste of the food itself which is the pride and joy of Woodville. Nobody goes away disappointed as our book of commendations from our customers gives testament to.

Bed & Breakfast
The Coach House is a fine old building dating back as far as the main house itself. This was where the servants used to stay and has been refurbished to provide excellent Bed & Breakfast accommodation while still keeping the old style of the original building. Single, Family and Twin Rooms are available throughout the year.

The Thatch Bar
The Thatch Bar is a quant traditional Irish Bar in the heart of this Olde World 17th Century Period House that is Woodville. Relax and enjoy the charm of the Thatch roof effect beside the warm open wood fire with a pint of the Black Stuff to add to the charm. Story tellers are plentiful here and everybody is encouraged to sing a song.
