You can shop till you drop, in the many craft, clothing and gift shops in town. Westport Leisure Centre is nearby away and features a public swimming pool and gym. There are also several blue flag beaches near by. Mayo is well known for its lake and sea fishing and boats are easy to hire on a daily or weekly basis. Golfing, cycling, horse riding, surfing, karting, ten-pin bowling, sailing, otter watching, sea cruises to the islands and walking trails are all available locally.
