Food & Beverage

Scholars Restaurant comes Michelin recommended with a 60 seat capacity, fine dining experience for every occasion, and a private room facility for conference and exclusive dining. It has been decorated to the highest standards, offering a unique depiction of the history of the locality through the hand painted frescoes that adorn the ceilings along with the plasterwork on the walls depicting the famous Battle of the Boyne. The restaurant is complimented by Scholars Bar. Quiet and relaxed, it makes the perfect setting to enjoy a pre-dinner apertif.

Area Information

Drogheda and its surrounding area is awash with activities. Just to mention some, Golf, Shooting, Riding, Hunting and Fishing. Heritage sites such as the Battle of the Boyne site, the burial chambers of Newgrange, Knowth and Dowth. Mellifont Abbey and the High Cross with Round Tower at Monasterboice. The Oriel Trail beginning and ending in Drogheda is approximately a 150km circular journey through the sight seeing highlights of County Louth.
