Galway Bay Hotel boasts 153 elegantly designed bedrooms, all of which boast V1 spring beds that are designed to give a sleep experience unlike any other.

Facilities include Calmer Waters Health & Beauty Salon, a fully equipped Leisure Centre, an award winning Lobster Pot Restaurant, Cafe Lido and An Scadan Caoch traditional Irish pub.

For out younger guests aged 4 - 12 we run our Penguin Activity Camp during bank holiday weekends, midterm breaks, July/August, Christmas & New Year.

Galway Bay Hotel room information The hotel boasts 153 elegantly designed bedrooms including six suites with plush contemporary décor and interiors. All of our bedrooms boast V1 spring beds that are designed to give a sleep experience unlike any other.

All rooms are en suite, have a trouser press, interactive TVs, tea and coffee making facilities and offer complimentary broadband access.

Food and Beverage

Guests can enjoy gourmet dining in the award winning Lobster Pot Restaurant, offering guests national and international cuisine with an emphasis on fresh fish and lobster from the tank, complemented by a fine wine cellar.

Cafe Lido offers guests an informal dining experience, serving from coffee & scones to carvery lunch & full evening meals. An Scadan Caoch is our traditional pub with a city centre feel, and this opens in to Leather Lounge which offers a more tranquil setting to enjoy a quiet drink while overlooking the splendour of Galway Bay.

Children from 0 - 3 are complimentary Bed & Breakfast - family rooms available on a request only basis.

Children from 4 - 12 are €40 per child per night for Bed & Breakfast when sharing the same room as adults. During July & August, midterm breaks, bank holiday weekends, Christmas & New Year children are €50 per child per night inclusive of Bed & Breakfast and complimentary use of our Penguin Activity Kids Camp, this includes High tea served in our Cafe Lido (children 4 - 12 years only)
