House, situated 3 miles from Foxford and 6 miles from Ballina in County Mayo is
the first and foremost guest house providing first class accommodation in the
locality. Opened to the public for accommodation in 1982 by Martin & Patricia
Kelly.

Our home is a
modern home and therefore can deliver the highest comfort
standards available to the visitor. We are approved by the
Irish Tourist Board.
All of our
rooms have en-suite (toilet, shower and hand basin) and are
also equipped with colour televisions and tea making
facilities. Other amenities include freezing facilities for
fish, private lounge and sandwiches and flask making service
available on request.
We also have a private car park.
A freshly cooked Irish breakfast (Bacon, Egg, Sausage,
Tomato) served in our dining room will await you in the
morning. Alternatively, you may wish to arrange to have a
continental breakfast.
Woodview Guest House is the ideal retreat for anglers,
fishing on the River Moy. Being only 300 metres from private
waters and club waters it is ideally placed for comfort.
Permits available and Ghillies can be arranged. The local
public house is also within 200 meters.
Within the locality are several top class amenities
including golf courses, the famous Foxford Woollen Mills,
the Ceide Fields and of course there's the serene beauty and
tranquillity of the scenic County Mayo and the Moy to be
discovered.
The Moy is probably the most prolific salmon river in the
country. It is said that fresh salmon run the Moy every
month of the year. The grilse begin running in early May.
The peak is from about the 20th May to 20th July. The grilse
range in size from about 3 to 7lb and the sea trout average
about ¾lb.
The Moy offers something for everyone with fast running fly
waters as well as some of the most prolific bait and
spinning Salmon waters to be found anywhere in the world.
