Mac Security Ltd is a long established security company, setup1997 by the Managing Director Sam McManus.
The main criteria in initially forming Mac Security was to fulfill a void with regards to the provision of professional training courses in a variety of disciplines required by personnel working within the security industry. As awareness into the need to have trained personnel within the workplace has grown, this training has subsequently expanded to encompass other areas of importance such as health and safety. Needless to say, the target market has extended beyond the arena of security and has grown to encompass the personnel from all manufacturing, commercial, retail and other service industries.

Mac Security provides a highly professional service, both in training and in the provision of security services to the Industrial, Commercial and Retail community.
The Company abides by the ethics and guidelines set down by the Irish Security Association and the Security Institute of Ireland, both organisations being recognized as the official industry watchdogs.

With the Republic of Ireland joining the European Union, there has been a remarkable up swing in the economy of the Country, this in turn has led to a ‘boom’ in new businesses emerging.  The security industry has also been affected by this upturn and whereas before, only the large multinational companies employed professionals to service their security requirements, more and more local companies are taking advantage of the experience available to them commercially.
