The Carrigart is located in the Donegal
highlands adjacent to the Victorian estate
village of Carrigart on an isthmus between
Mulroy and Sheephaven bay at the base of the
Rosguill peninsula. The Carrigart is a
family run hotel and specialises in
providing memorable holidays. The hotel
comprises 48 en-suite guest bedrooms and
family suites, all of which feature T.V.,
hairdryer, and direct dial telephone. The
hotel has recently developed a 36 hole golf
links, St.Patricks, situated 2 miles from
the hotel.
Restaurant
Fresh
fish is an outstanding feature of the
Carrigart cuisine. Our menus combine local
produce with modern preparations and
cooking. Our lounge bar is comfortably
appointed featuring courteous and efficient
service. There are musical evenings with
sing-songs and dancing. The drink is good
and the craic is mighty!
Location
As can be seen from these photographs the
local surroundings will simply take your
breath away. Tra-Na-Rossan bay is located 3
miles from Carrigart. You can explore the
natural hinterland by foot and car. The
rugged coastline will offer a variety of
beaches to choose and you have the choice of
fresh water fishing in the lackagh or deep
sea fishing in Sheephaven bay.
